Detail Architects were approached by Carter Jonas to carry out a viability exercise on a commercial site in a predominantly residential area in Guildford.
Detail produced a number of sketch proposals to explore proposed unit numbers/initial project viability. The proposed site plan opposite was the most financially viable achieving 11 residential units, with a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bed units with outdoor amenity space and parking.
The response ensured the proposal remained within the affordable housing threshold limit for the area.
